We want everyone to be able to read FilmBunch, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across filmbunch.com.
What we have done
- Text and controls meet AA colour contrast in both light and dark mode, and the site follows your system setting unless you choose otherwise.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Buttons and links in menus are at least 24 pixels, most 48, so they are easy to tap.
- Pages use real headings, landmarks and labelled forms, and we add text alternatives to images.
- Nothing on the site moves on its own or flashes.
- The cookie banner can be used with a keyboard and a screen reader, and never blocks reading.
How we test
We check pages with automated tests (Lighthouse) and by hand, on phones and desktop and with a keyboard. Last reviewed 26 October 2026.
Known limits
Some links inside article text are smaller than 24 pixels; the guidelines allow this for links in running text. Images supplied by festivals and distributors sometimes come without a useful description; we add one before publishing.
Tell us about a problem
If something on FilmBunch is hard to use, email hello@filmbunch.com with the page address and what happened. We will reply and fix what we can.
